Diablo 3 received a commemorative game mode, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the launch of the first game in the series. Free for owners of the Reaper of Souls version for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the mode rescues the look and some of the classic Blizzard RPG features.

With pixelated graphics and characters with limited movement only eight directions (as in the first game), the update adds 16 screens inspired by the first version of Diablo, with the right iconic enemies that marked the history of the franchise. Step 1. At the main menu, click on “Game Mode”.
Step 2. In this menu select the “Adventure Mode”. To have access to the mode it is necessary to have already finished the main campaign of the game.
Step 3. Choose Act I and start the game.
Step 4. Go to a teleportation and open the map to find the correct region.
Step 5. Select “Old Ruins”, which will be marked with a red pentagram, named after the first game in the series.
Step 6. In this region of the map, look for a blue portal and enter it to start the classic mode of Diablo 3.
Step 7. From now on the game will be shown with a pixelated look, in the best style of the first Diablo. The movement of the characters will also be modified. And will now have only eight directions, just like the classic Blizzard.
